Super Moon #2, Coit Tower

I could not resist trying again with the May 8th Super Moon and this time trying to find a great foreground. I was hoping to get a shot of the moon rising up over San Francisco and using the Photographers Ephemeris App, it looked liked the moon would line up perfectly. Unfortunately, the Marin Headlands were still closed so I diverted to my back up plan of Coit Tower.

I was able to stake out a spot on the breakwater at Ghiradell Square and shoot back towards Coit Tower. What an amazing experience to see the moon come up right on time! Wish I could have shot some video at the same time.
