Got a chance to be pretty close to the Edge and Bono last Tuesday night in Oakland. I thought about renting a Leica but it looked a little too big to smuggle in past security, so went with my 4 year old Panasonic Point and Shoot. Too bad, as I saw several people with full blown DSLR’s in the crowd! Should have brought my D3′s and 24-70, but, I would have driven my wife nuts shooting, when I should have been having fun.

Still, I’m please with the results. Although not tack sharp, and there is motion blurr, it still captured the feeling of the crowd cheering.
