Hoover Tower and Sunset Circa 1995

A view from El Camino looking west towards the Steuber Rugby Stadium and the Boyd and Jill Smith Softball Stadium. It was one of the those January skies that lights up right after the sun goes down. I'd seen the sky starting to light up, and I'd been trying to make a nice image of Hoover Tower against the skyline for a few months from this spot. I'd raced over in my VW camper and pulled over for the last of the sunset. The light show lasted maybe a minute or two, and I just caught the last of it with a few exposures before it shut down.
